Distance Learning
I completed my study on Distance Education at University of Wisconsin-Madison on August, 2006. During this one-year program, I’ve taken four core modules and six elective courses. These courses are,
- Prospectives and instructional theories for distance education
- Instructional system design
- Distance education technology
- Evaluation in distance education
- Group processes for online learning
- Designing for online learning
- Managing distance learning in higher education
- Online facilitation techniques (Web-based format)
- Creating and using learning objects with open source tools
- e-Learning quality improvement through peer review
The course itself presents an exemplary model for distance learning. I've learned expanded theroies and had oppotunities to role-play the moderator through the course. Readings and reflections helped me connecting my old experiences with current knowledge. I was so interested and decided to study further and pursue my master degree on related subjects.
